About The Event
Our all-ages adventure for the month of May takes us to Felicita County Park in Escondido. This 346 acre park has something for everyone to enjoy. There are full playground and picnic amenities, large grass field, year-round creek, ancient oaks, and 1.5 miles of trails. This park was named after Native American Felicita La Chappa. She lived in the San Pasqual/Escondido area from mid 1800’s to 1916. The park was once a large Kumeyaay village. Enjoy a wonderful day exploring!
Bring water, snacks, and your nature journals! We will see what amphibians we can find creekside!
